Privacy Policy

We only collect the data we need to run Koplanit and to make our marketing better. You can request deletion at any time by emailing helpdesk@koplanit.com.

Data we collect

  • Account details you provide (name, email, password hash)
  • Event content you create (tasks, vendors, guests, files)
  • Waitlist details if you join the early-access list at /waitlist: first name, email, event type, timeframe, optional guest count.
  • Marketing-attribution parameters present on your URL when you land — UTM tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term) and ad-platform click identifiers (gclid, fbclid, ttclid). These help us measure which ads are working without identifying you personally.
  • Usage analytics — pageviews, button clicks, funnel progress — collected only to improve the product.

Cookies + tracking

We use a small set of third-party services to run analytics and measure paid-media campaigns. These only fire after you accept the cookie banner; if you choose Essential only, none of them load.

  • PostHog — product analytics (funnel events, session replay). Used to understand how people move through the waitlist.
  • Meta (Facebook) Pixel + Conversions API — measures the impact of Facebook + Instagram ads. We send a SHA-256 hash of your email to Meta's servers (not the raw email) so the platform can match your conversion to its ads.
  • Google Tag (GA4 + Google Ads) — analytics + Google Ads conversion attribution. Uses Google Consent Mode v2 with default-denied state.
  • TikTok Pixel — measures TikTok ads performance.
  • Sentry — error tracking (always on; essential for keeping the product working).

How long we keep things

  • Account data — until you delete your account.
  • Waitlist leads — until you ask us to remove them or they convert into an account.
  • Analytics events — 12 months in PostHog, governed by each ad platform's own policy on Meta / Google / TikTok side.

Your rights

  • Access or delete your data — email helpdesk@koplanit.com.
  • Opt out of tracking — choose “Essential only” on the cookie banner. Already answered it? Clear the consent choice in your browser's site data, reload, and choose again.
  • Opt out of ad-platform sharing — use the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page (no account needed), or the toggle in Settings → Privacy if you're signed in. We also honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal automatically.
  • EU/UK residents — you have rights under GDPR; email us and we'll respond within 30 days.
  • California residents — you have rights under CCPA/CPRA, including the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. Opt out on the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page, or email us with the subject line “CCPA request” for any other request (access, deletion, correction).
